Today I point out that even if you think meditation is stupid, you meditate on things every day. Its those thoughts that shape the way you think and act. Many times its negative. Today we talk about replacing that bad habit with a new one.

When You Stay Planted in God You Are Promised to Prosper

12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,
they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
13 planted in the house of the Lord,
they will flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They will still bear fruit in old age,
they will stay fresh and green,
15 proclaiming, “The Lord is upright;
he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”

Start a New Type of Mediation

When you start to worry, and your thoughts start to snowball in a negative way – stop. Pray. Say the words out loud and talk to God. He's there. He can help.

Get a bible. Check out youversion.com and put it on yoru phone or tablet or just use their website. Then take a few minutes every day to find one verse to focus on, and repeat that every day. For me, when things are tough, I love Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
